How do you keep from losing your knife when hunting?

I can't stand when an OP never gets back to the helpful people who took the time to post alternate ways to address the OP question. I liked the idea of blaze orange flagging tape. I have rolls of that for hunting anyway. The orange handle seemed to be about the best fix and another excuse to buy a new knife. I'll also try to have a knife "spot" this year, like on top of my pack or in my hat.
