How do you Laminate poweder steel?

I can't figure out how knife makers laminate powder steel in 420j2

I.e Fallknivens in 3g or Spydercos in ZDP189 and Hap40

Does it come from the steel mill that way?

I have a piece of CPM-S90v core/CPM-154 I got from Niagara Specialty Metals. They're doing it in-house, but they're also the rolling mill for Crucible steel...

im still waiting for the damasteel pattent to run out
i want to see high proformance blends like M4/204p or cpm154/3v
