How do you make your favorite Holiday Drink?

1/2 of a glass of Captain Morgan's Private Stock and 1/2 a glass of Coke, a most excellent rum and coke. Depending on how the first couple taste, I will add more rum as desired.:D

For us non-drinkers.

1 12 oz can apple juice concentrate thawed to liquid state.

juice of 1 lemon

2 shakes Angostura bitters

1 1 liter bottle Calistoga mineral water with lemon, COLD

In a pitcher, combine first three ingredients. Carefully pour in the mineral water to preserve as much carbonation as possible. Agitate VERY gently to mix. Pour and drink, Ice optional.

1-Take 12 oz glass

2-Fill with ice

3-Fill 1/2 way with Beefeater Gin

4-Full other half with Canada Dry Tonic Water

5-Add lime slice and enjoy!

I've pretty much gotten away from the booze but the Ex has my kids for the next couple of days (I opened presents with them this morning before she picked them up). It's kinda depressing not having your family together this time of year :( But it is nice to have all you knuts out there - you're kind of my extended family.

Anyway... (knife content ahead) I picked up a 12 pack of Michelob light and I'm opening the bottles with my Stag Hubertus auto with the bottle opener-actuator.

Merry Christmas to all of you! :)

You guys with the Tequila.... be afraid, be VERY afraid :D  ;)

1. Go to the cabinet and look at several bottles of scotch inside.
2. Pick one.
3. Pour in a glass
4. Add a VERY small amount of water
5. Consume
6. Repeat until you've solved the world's problems or darkness closes in, whichever comes first.

Start with a shot of rum in a small glass; add eggnog; sprinkle some nutmeg on top; enjoy!

Then get a clean glass; fill with ice cubes; add Johnnie Walker (Red or Black); sip slowly & enjoy!

TAke short (but fat) glass. Add crushed ice till full. Fill with Absolute from freezer. Quarter a fat juicy lime. Squeeze a couple lime quarters in glass. Repeat if necessary.

You guys keep talking about my favorite old Uncle; Jack. He and I don't get together as often as we used to, and our conversations are more distant, but there is part of a bottle of Single Barrel close by. Maybe we should say Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays to you all,

jmx

Pop the top on a Guinness draught (in a bottle) and enjoy.:)

Edited to add knife content.....Open bottle with V-nox Soldier.

Stopped drinking last year but used to bring the "NIX-NOG" to the Thanksgiving and Christmas parties.

NIXNOG...

2 quarts high quality Whiskey

1 quart high quality Rum

Freshly ground Nutmeg and Vanilla

One egg, separated with the egg white well beaten, fold in the fluffy egg white and the egg yoke with the other ingrediants and let chill over night.

That is exactly what I had for my Holiday Drink, and I have to say that it was worth every penny.

I also got a half gallon of Jim Beam, but haven't opened it yet.

Keith... good choice. I had some for the first time this fall after a long day of pheasant hunting. Mighty fine stuff.

Hmm, let's see, how do I make my holiday drinks? A couple of questions... are the wild nephews over? Other annoying relatives? Or are you alone, in your underwear watching Skinimax?:D

A couple of good choices from Mongo's bar...
1. Stoli citron in a glass with ice, lime wedge, and a hint of tonic water.
2. The "triple M"... Mongo's magnificant manhattan. 4 ice-cubes, 4 maraschino cherries, a tumbler full of Crown Royal, and again, a hint of sweet vermouth.
3. One ice-cube, tumbler full of Basil Hayden's bourban.
4. One ice-cube, tumbler full of Jose Cuervo reserva familia

Damn, after this week, I might just do 1 through 4 and suffer the consequences!
