So with Independence Day coming up it is time for a giveaway! In the South when someone does something patriotic you will hear all the rednecks just say "Merica!"

We want to see your knife pics and how you do "Merica" over this holiday weekend.

What will you win?

-How about a brand new in box ZT0909!

How to enter?

-Post a pic of your knife doing something associated with Independence Day or America. This can be travel, food, nature, fireworks, picnics or anything else you can think of!

Rules:

-Start each entry post by stating OFFICIAL ENTRY

-Paying members can post/enter up to 5 times and non paying members can enter once. If you upgrade to a paying membership during the time of the giveaway then you can enter 5 times. In other words, SUPPORT Blade Forums!

-This is only open to United States shipping addresses and Military Forwarding Addresses only. Sorry to our international members, we will make it up to you next time.

-Must be 18 or older to enter.

How to win:

We will use a random number generator to pic a winner on Friday July 8th. If that number lands on an official entry post, that person will win.

I hope everyone will have fun with this and post a bunch of cool pics. I also hope you all have a safe and wonderful time celebrating our great country!

Not an entry but cool idea. If I wasn't going camping I would enter by wrapping a burger In bacon then putting bacon wrapped hot dogs around it with a small flag stuck through it to hold it together

Great theme for a giveaway! Even if I don't win, I feel like a winner, living in this great country.

Sitting here in my cubical at the cube farm, here's about as 'Merica as I can get. A shiny Bald Eagle statue, my Union Steward placard, a USA-made Leatherman Micra and an arrow head from my backyard. :D

I think every suture tray should come with a Manix! Just look at that edge.

Don't reach across the sharpening bench when there's an Opinel No. 8 in the clamp. It bites!

Middle of my left, outer forearm. 5 stitches. It's officially a holiday.

Official entry. Thanks for a cool GAW.

Great giveaway, sir!

Also, this is NOT an entry, I just wanted to post a picture.

Happy 4th to you and yours.

In 2011 I took down an Agave Americana in our side yard, that had bitten me more than once. I also took down a chola cactus as well. I had mentioned in the thread that I was going to salvage the other cactus plants, but this week I decided they're going bye-bye too.

Pics of the Becker after taking down most of the agave:

So the last cactus (a San Pedro type) had reached a height of 18', growing up all wonky behind a big mulberry tree in our yard. I couldn't transplant it, and it was dying anyway, so it's coming down this afternoon. The Becker will be on duty, as well as my old Collins-Legitimus machete.

Pics of the current cactus carnage to come later.

OK Last one. Variations on the theme "Merica". Thanks for the great GAW!

Just FYI, the saddle is my wife's. We're in Sorrento, FL, about 20 minutes away from Umatilla where Johnny Ruff works and has his saddle-making shop. The one in the pic is one of his, plus his son is a knife dealer in the same shop with a great assortment of Benchmades, ZTs, Case and other brands. I got the ZT 452 and the BM Crooked River from him just recently (coinciding birthday and Father's Day gifts).

Happy and safe 4th of July Blade Forums!
