How do you pass the time waiting for Blades?

As a kid I was a sports card addict. Got back into collecting sports cards as an adult. Now I just collect graded hall of fame NFL rookie cards. Better investment than stocks.
I have a 2 year old daughter so my collection is her college fund and hopefully a down payment for a house when she graduates. The knife collection is to scare of her future boyfriends.

Unpacking our household goods I found thousands of baseball cards from when I was younger, none of them newer than 1988. Maybe they will be/are worth something

lol ^ :D

I use gloves, head gear and mouthpiece when sparring in Boxing but only a mouthpiece in Jiu Jitsu unless it's freestyle fight simulation night then we put the gloves on too

I thought the Gi was called a Kimono in Japan? Do they just use both names?

I've only heard it called gi, but in Japan one might hear it both ways.

I work as much as i can, so i can get as much INFI as I can lol
When all that is done, i head up the Mtn to chop something lol
BTW: Adian, Mad Respect fir you and Urs, i dont know if i could just get up and move like that. U the Man

There is a local guy that makes duck, jalapeño and cheddar pepper sticks for me that are amazing.

Really wish you wouldn't have brought this to my attention, was unaware those could be made, I'm buying a duck stamp soon.:D Might try to make meat sticks myself. Know people with grinders. Very spendy to have made.

Not gonna lie, sometimes it's rough!

This one is particularly rough for me since I speak almost zero Spanish! It's weird going weeks and not really talking to anyone other than your wife, it kinda isolates you. Can't really hang out with people from the unit due to rank.

But there are lots of fun activities to keep me busy.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the language fairy quick, but languages aren't a strong suit for me

It is. He smokes the meat before he grinds it up so it loses about half it's fluid weight but some of that is made back with pork fat and the cheese & jalapeños. They are awesome. Once in a while I'll split the casing open on a couple, dump out the good stuff and then scramble it in with some eggs for breakfast burritos. Dang it. Now I'm hungry.

I'm in that life-phase where most of my time is committed to work and family (3 kids under 10,) but I try to stay busy in my limited free time...

Using my current blades,
Modding my blades,
Sharpening,
Trying NOT to buy more stuff off the exchange,
And recently started an attempt to perform the miracle of turning grape juice into wine

How do I pass the time? By using others I have and working to pay for the newcomers! :D
