How do you pronounce "choil" ???

I say CHuyl

Ch like in Chop

oil like the one syllabled (see: southern) version of oil and toil.

all one syllable in choil.

And for the record: shoil is a REALLY stupid way of saying it.

The Oxford Dictionary notes that the instrument (???) for making choils is a choiler... and it first appeared in use in 1888. Pronunciation as in CHOICE.....
