How do you pronounce it?

Ohhh .. Well that makes more sense then... Sorry Sir.. :)

I thought ya wuz a Yankee tryin to stir the pot :p:p never mind. :D

Maybe a 4 year old living in America, but here in Norway and most places in Europe an "e" at the end is pronouced sort of like "uh". I'm sure the name is of European origin, so it isn't always obvious how such names are pronounced over there.

I used to wonder the same thing...technically I still pronounce it wrong. I pronounce it Beauce. Beau like beautiful, and ce as it seems. I should do a test and ask people how they would pronounce it

The guy who does a good job reviewing the ASH-1 on youtube but totally FUBARs up the how he says Busse! Glad this thread was done.

This has to be the 10th thread asking how to pronounce a word that is easily understood by a 4 year old.. (sigh)

Jarvis, you're right for the most part. However, while I had guessed correctly, it's nice to know I was correct. Problem with the internet, reading the word you can't be 100% sure how it's pronouced.
For example, is your name pronouced Jar (as in Jar-Jar) Vis (as in hiss), or Jar (as in Jar-Jar) Ice (as in Vanilla Ice)? I'd guess the first, but it's always nice to know for sure. :)

My 4-year-old is pretty smart, but I doubt he's able to decode "Busse" and pronounce it correctly. I'm fairly well educated when it comes to reading and pronouncing written text, and I got it wrong on the first attempt.

It's not so hard to respond nicely when this question comes up. A polite answer builds the community and keeps folks around rather than driving them away. With a lot of folks, it would not occur to them that this topic is one that can be found with a Search. It's just a little out of the normal range of knife talk.

Busse is pronounced HO-MEK-WIT-EE-LONE

INFI is pronounced SEC-OND-JOB.

The SH in front of SH Battle Mistress (SHBM), SH Steel Heart (SHSH), SH Satin Jack (SHSJ) and SH Badger Attack (SHBA) is latin for "SELL YOUR CHILD!"

That is pretty darn funny. :D

I started a thread in W&C regarding who would win a knife fight--Gary Busey or Christopher Walken. Feel free to drop in and add your two cents. :p

okay,
to bring this thread to an end.
the name busse comes original from germany. i´am german so i MUST know the answer

as phonetic spelling is not the right way to bring it to the point feel free to call me on the phone :D
it might be a bit expensive but, trust me , you will get the right answer to the question :)
or you must wait until the next blade show :p
