How do you spend your time during the lockdown?

Working. Since I work for a major rice company, we have kept right on trucking. Can’t disrupt the food chain.

If I had been able to stay home I would’ve played with my kids, smoked a lot of meat, tweaked a few guns and worked on other projects.

  • Spending time on BladeForums
  • Sharpening my knives
  • Buying Knives
  • Selling Knives
  • Watching YouTube videos on GEC knives (my latest addiction)

Volunteer barber, have clippers - will travel...

I bought a Worksharp knife & tool sharpener, so that has taken up some of my time. I have waxed our cars as well as organized our garages. Also have been working out with my free weights a little bit harder and longer. Plus I started riding my old bicycle.

My job is not essential. But the boss claimed before everything shut down that we were not going to quit. And as everything is just now starting to open, we haven't stopped. No masks or any b.s. like that. Of course we are a small business and have few employees. And we all have our own machines which are about 20 feet apart, so really no need for a mask. The boss and superviser say they would never wear one, and won't go anywhere were you are required to wear one. Anyway, i have bought 5 knives since the "quaranteen". And the stimulus check is saved and waiting for things to get back to somewhat normal so I can place an order for a new 10mm 1911. Cannot wait! The wife is a home health aid and is essential, so hasn't stopped either. Bills are all payed like normal. So pretty much for us, nothing ever changed. We can't really go anywhere and if we decide to "eat out" like we usually do about once a week or so. Almost all our favorite resturants have full menu takeout. The wife shops for her clients so we were stocked before everything shut down. Heck, we usually are anyway. She even helped the family get what they needed too.

I spent too much money at Amazon (non-knife related stuff), looked up a few BS things online, re-read a couple ebooks, watched a few 'MINISCULE' and 'BRONZE COWBOY' videos over on You Tube, took perhaps a tiny tad more than my "my fair share" of afternoon (and morning) naps, and listened to Classical music?

Please note: In the last 65 years, I have never claimed to be not boring, and not unexciting. :)

Sounds sort of like my social distancing. Except for the naps. I wouldn't t mind a nap once and a while, but my wife keeps identifying projects for me to do. And I find I m liking takeout food better than sitting in a restaurant. This may be boring to some, but it s ok with me. I don t get bored easily. Probably not smart enough...

Still working, but was mostly annoyed that I couldn't eat at restaurants (I hate drive-throughs!) and couldn't get a haircut for a while. Also annoyed at toilet paper hoarders. Hope everything opens back up 100% soon.

Sounds great!

Good to hear that, during the epidemic, nothing changes is the best! take care and have fun with knives! Buy some Kizer as well (a wish from Kizer LOL)

Is that means you are not boring and exciting right now? XD As a non-native speaker, hope I didn't get it wrong.
