• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

How do you sterilize your cooking/eating tools in the woods?

I usually just bring a small bottle of doc bronners, or similar castile soap. I use it to wash my dishes, or myself when I get too dirty and sometimes my clothes. I hear you can brush your teeth with it too, but it really doesn't taste good so I never have yet. If theres no soap, then I'll scrub it with some dirt, or sand and then rinse.
:)it seems strange saying that I clean stuff with dirt...it works though, at least it makes it look clean which is good enough for me!

The only cutlery I use is Lexan spoons. I don't think I've taken a fork since the childhood days of the snap together knife, fork and spoon kit. A bit of dish soap, a J-cloth, and a scotch bright backed sponge does everything for me from Teflon to burnt on. The baby sterilizer pills aren't for washing pots. I bung them in the bag with the cleaning kit every so often to ensure nothing is living in that.

Has anyone tried the Dr. Bronner’s soap/shampoo/dish soap stuff?

Edit: Never mind... I should pay more attention
