How do you store and display your fixed blade knives?

Hey all, I enjoy traveling, and I've been fortunate enough to be able to do quite a bit of it. As a result, I have a lot of knives I've picked up from all over, and I usually try to collect one fixed blade in a traditional design for everywhere I go. How do you store and display your fixed blade knives? Letting them sit in the sheath can cause issues, as I've heard, but, I would love to find some sort of display case to show them all off.

Any suggestions from the pros?

I just store, knives out of sheath, oiled lightly, and wrapped in bubble wrap(what I had) put in ammo can with desiccant... I try to keep it simple...

I don't. All my knives are tough users. When not on my hip, they sit in a cardboard box in my boiler room. Warm consistent temp and a little oil on the blade goes a long way. I do get a kick out of the thought of carefully displaying battle scarred Beckers, Moras, ESEEs, and Condors only to smack them through big chunks of wood, scrape their spines on ferro rods, even use them in building/remodeling projects etc... etc...

Of course your situation is different than mine. You're talking about a worldly collection and i'm talking about heavy duty user tools.

I mean, I do have my users as well (mainly my Izula, Mora, and a Fallkniven), and they're hardly up for being displayed, haha. But, for these they're mostly just as souvenirs and I enjoy collecting them.
