How do you store/display your knives?

Displays are great to look at, but if a thief breaks in to your place and understands that your knives have value, then say goodbye to your collection. Guns, knives, jewelry, etc. should be kept in a safe or a non-descript container in a surreptitious location.

It's simply not worth chancing it, IMHO.

You are 100% correct, but it sucks we have to do that now.
I remember when the front door was NEVER locked and when we went somewhere for a few days, we made sure to tell the neighbors where the key was, under the front door mat, like everyone elses.
Why did we tell them where the key was?
In case they needed something. We did not want them to be locked out.

How times have changes!! now you have to chain and lock your trash can outside..., SERIOUSLY..., even trash cans get stolen. Now, who woulda thought???
