How do you store your Fiddlebacks?

Thurin, have you read the Shannara, or Eragon books? Certainly not Tolkien, but the Shannara books are a series that my family has read over and over. The Eragon books are amazing having been written by such a young writer.

I currently store my two Fiddlebacks on top of my dresser in their paper slips. Makes me bummed every time I look at them. They deserve so much better, and every time I leave the house I wish I could take one with me. I really need to do something about making or buying sheaths already. :(

Case XX, that's exactly how I keep my carving knives. I just carved notches in a strip of basswood to hold em. Probably not the best for the steel but I keep them protected with oil.

Strig, I have read the Shannara series and like them. I started reading them when they came out back in the late 70's and catch up every so often as there's and endless stream of them it seems. My daughter and I read through the Eragon series together. I agree, really good for such a young kid to write.

Very nice Erich! Great way to display some of that Bushfinger collection.

That's awesome Thurin. I also loved the Eye of the World series although I stopped after Robert Jordan died.

ErichM, that's a nice box. The collection is crazy cool though. Are those all of them, or just that model?

Grizzly carries a few wooden tool chests that look like they might work well for a collection of knives. Maybe not the best for displaying them though.

I particularly like your sheath mountain at the top right!:)

Thanks bear. I've got a drawer full of knives and sheaths in the desk too. I'm starting to think my wife is right.

Nice collection ErichM!! I use a couple boxes similar to that but they doesn't have the glass top. I like that much better.

This pic is a few years old but I'm not home this weekend to get a better pic.
