I like the Pelican case idea, but it's fairly expensive...Maybe if I had 80-100 knives, I would be willing to dish out a few hundred bucks for a big pelican case.
That tool chest is also a great idea, but it's not ideal for my current situation. It would be more ideal for a much larger collection.

I do the same thing as powernoodle above. I keep them in lined Craftsman 3-drawer tool chests, I have two of them and they are filling fast. One thing I like about it is you can lock the box if needed. Saw the idea originally on Youtube on DarkChild's channel. Mine are black and I think they were around $60 when I bought them.

I use a craftsman tool box. I dont fill it up but it's nice and I like it. I can keep Paracord, gloves, glasses, and other stuff in the top compartment and leave the drawers for knives.

I have to get organized, y'all put me to shame. I have mine all around my hobby room. some in drawers on desk and bureau. A few in the garage, tool box etc. Not exactly a system.

I use Craftsman's tool chests similar to PowerNoodle's. No, they aren't as secure as a real safe, but they're a fraction of the cost. The tool chest system is flexible and expandable with many options (colors, sizes, drawer layouts, etc.). Most importantly the chests keep the knives out of sight and are too large and heavy to be easily carried off.

Here's the most recent chest I picked up. At 40" wide and 228lbs, no everyday burglar is making off with it.

Just a tip, anything that makes your knives easy for you to carry, make them easier for anyone else to carry too.

I also have a few stored in here:

so far this solution works good for me although my big blade knives are stored in a separate place
