  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How Do You Store Your Non Stainless Knives

Pelican 1550 case. I live about a block from the ocean and noticed some pitting starting on an hatchet made out of 52100, and darkening on a chopper made out of A2. I bought the Pelican case and threw in some silica gel desiccant packs and everything has been all good. Here is a pic:

I figured there was too much unused space on the underside of the lid :D. Side note, there are two glues that work on Pelican box plastic, one is made my 3M and is ~$30 a tube, the other is ShoeGoo ~$5 a tube.

I give them a polish up with Renaissance Wax. Amazon link Amazing stuff. Not cheap but I bet your knives aren't cheap either, it lasts a long time - you don't need much and it's easy to apply. I use it on sheaths, blade, scales, the lot.
