How do you support your blades in the oven?

I also use a fire brick with just enough groove to hold the edge up

hey the rest of my oven is made of the same stuff.
it's not going to hurt it,,, just preheat it first or make sure you are up to full temp... you could rib the brick for quick heating and set in SS rods also.. :)

as a matter of fact the brick may help it will be hot and help hold heat around you're blade as you open the door..think about that :)

I'm talking about soft fire brick not the hard stuff.
