  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How do you use your knives?

Probably 90% of the stuff I do with my knife is just opening plastic packages, whether it's food, something from the store, or whatever. Another 5% is probably cutting things out doing yard work. And about 5% is whatever I'm cutting while camping/hiking/backpacking. About the oddest thing I've tried to do is open a bottle of Corona with a Spydie Native. Two things -- no, three things I learned -- from that experience: (1) The Native's tip is a little too fragile; (2) I'm really glad the Native has a good lock on its blade; (3) carry a Victorinox with me at all times when in the country or backpacking. Between the thin tip and the plastic handles, it was almost impossible to open that D*#@ bottle!
