What would be the best options for a custom knife that would sit forever in a display BUT, I repeat BUT, If necessary would be the finest user tool out of the whole lot???

My Gemini (#12) is gonna be pretty simple. Hand rubbed satin finish 420V, with carbon fiber inlays.

Actually, it probably wont be a user. The truth of the matter is that I just like things simple. Damascus is beautiful and all, but its just a little to fancy for my tastes. I may however opt for desert ironwood instead of CF inlays. But I still have some time before I have to make that decision.
