I just received my Spyderco G-clip direct from the factory for about $6 shipped. It fits the slot on the Izula sheath perfectly for both horizontal and vertical carry.
First impressions is that this is a very good clip for the Izula. It is made of a pretty solid plastic that does not bend very easy at all. Once you clip it on a belt or just your pants with no belt it is going no where. It is pretty much locked on until you manipulate the clip by hand to release it.
I really wanted to carry the Izula horizontal in the small of my back when I got it but could never find a good way to lash it to my belt that I liked. This new Spyderco g-clip is just the ticket if you are looking for horizontal carry.
I would have bought a Tek-lok but I wanted the option to carry it on a pair of pants or shorts with no belt and you need a belt for the Tek-lok. If that is a consideration then take a look at the g-clip.
Nice sheath man! Where did ya get it?![]()
like this. need a better way, my leather belts are a little to thick for the molle lock to be comfortably on there.on the belt with MOLLE Lock.
I like wearing mine around the neck, but also had a nice set up for my boot.
Thanks, made it myself.
This is my ''one Euro fifty Kydex press''.
