How does one clean stag?

Okay group, I have a White Hunter with black on the stag. Does anyone know...

1) What this is?
2) Should it be removed?
3) If so, can it be removed?
3) If so, how?

Stag has many natural colors, including black. It can be cleaned with hot, soapy water and a brush. I suggest a good coat of paste wax when it is thoroughly dry.
