How Does the B11 Compare To The 1311 In chopping ?

Waiting on the dong for my CGB13, but for now, the Basic 11 is my favorite, edging out the battle saw by a hair. I'be handled the 1311, but can't imagine it coming out so far ahead as to change my mind. B11 is quick in the hand and a powerhouse chopper.

I have to agree with the pack here. I think the 1311 is the better of the two but I love the 1111 and wanted it to be the better of the two. I hade a kills Zilla, ffbm, fbm, and nmfb and so far like the 1111 and 1311 more than all of them for chopping. While the fbm is my grail knife I have to admit i didn't like using them

I owned both. The B11 is thicker than the 1311. It seems sturdier to me. But I liked the extra length on the 1311. I use mine for long distance hiking trips where I need to process wood. I believe they are almost the same weight. Maybe off my a couple of ounces. But I sold the B11. I probably should have kept both. Oh well the B13 is coming. We will see if the 1311 goes bye bye.
