When the economy was better I used to have enough money to buy pretty much every Busse knife that was released... now I have to pick the ones I really need.
Has the economy also affected you guys that way ?

It was little to nuttin back then, now its nuttin to nuttin, with a side of Holy Crap what am I gonna do!

I love what I do, and wont do anything else, but throw me a bone!!! :p

I still have my house and car, I do have a lot to be thankful for. :D

This economy is terrible, i've been a Tattoo Artist and shop owner for over 20 years, this is my worst year ever. I've only bought two new Busse's ,a CABS LE my EDC and a satin Black paper Boss Jack, i have had to sell 60% of my collection just to pay bills. Here's hoppin 2012 ROCKS. In the words of Red Green, i'm pullin for ya we're all in this together.

ive had to sell most of my busse's and really be careful about buying any knives period:( im in california and dont see it gettin any better.

The only knives I own anymore have been gifts. 2 of them INFI and from folks here. I have a job, but our state gov. is holding education hostage for tax hikes. Lookin' a little bleak. Although health issues have cost me dearly, my wife started working outside the home this year, so I don't have to work a second and third job every weekend.

Ive had to sell a lot of knives and guns to make ends meats sometimes. I own a 72 year old business and I have come close to closing my doors two times. Sad thing is my business is an institution in SC and VERY well known restaurant. I am very very worried if the policies in placed are not changed or eliminated.

I have sold well over 30 knives in the past year, down to 12 now two of which are Busse knives, I may not be able to buy for some time based on the economy, I hope and pray it turns around for all of us. I think we should be able to buy at least one Busse per month!!!!I hope it gets that way soon, and yes I mean it when I pray for the economy to turn around.

It's sad to think that it's only going to get worse...

In January I think it's like 1.8 million people are scheduled to stop receiving unemployment benefits, so a lot of them will turn to crime to make ends meet. At the same time budgets for police and prisons have shrunk. Looks like a recipe for a crime wave, or maybe all of them will go to Occupy Wallstreet.

Sold about 40 Busse knives to cover my butt during 8 months of unemployment. Kept the lights on and food on the table.

Been working contract since June, but don't feel like I have the extra $$ for anything that doesn't scream at me. Last one that yelled was a War Dog.

Here are my official 2012 predictions:
1) One or more European states will collapse
2) The United States will become involved in a military campaign against Syria and Iran
3) Bank of America will declare bankruptcy... not sure if they will be bailed out again (If you have a BOA account leave and go to a local credit union)
4) We will experience a worse recessionary period than 08'

Buy silver NOT gold, and buy property... It's gonna get bad guys...

Well I am a 19year old college bound kid who makes minimum wage. So I honestly have not been able to even afford a Busse yet. I have had a SS4 but the inflated price caused me to need to resell it in a week. I am hoping the B4 is somewhere around 200$ so I can buy my first busse. Swamprat and Scrapyard are the only ones of the Bussekin family I can afford. Sometimes.

yep, things are going to get worse, better buy food...... I've sold a couple of hundred to survive, probably had to many knives anyway. Looking forward to the rest of the basics and hoping to afford them.

Sold a lot of my blades, easily 60%. Bought 1 or maybe 2. Still selling. Think I may get back to single digits soon. The exchange rate is killing me. I used to get $2.1/£1 now it's more like $1.45/£1. Really dents my buying power.

As has already been mentioned. It could be a lot worse and to have more than a handful of knives is a luxury so I can't complain.

for the first 4 months I lived here I was making less than or just enough to pay bills, which I'm still a bit in debt from. Only in the last month have I started getting hours, 22 hours at one place, and now 26 hours at another, thats going to allow me to do alright. 7 days a week at 50-60 hours isn't great, but it's the only way I can keep afloat. I still have a CS TTKZ, a BOSS Jack Proto, and soon to be B10. I just got a scrapivore and a 511, those and the basic being from the beer helmet winnings, otherwise theres no way I would have bought them.

I'm going to let my unregistered car that I don't have insurance for that I was driving on a soon to expire out of state license sit in the parking lot for a few months and save up money by biking to work. It will be about 10 miles a day 7 days a week, but it will save hundreds of dollars a month in registration, insurance, gas and repairs.

It's sad to see the bad economy affecting so many people. Sometimes you wonder... where the hell does all the money go ? To china ?

Yes, a lot of it is. The interest paid to them is funding their military to grow larger and more advanced. We are in big big trouble. The money goes to them and to the crooked politicians with their personal agendas and lobbyist along with ridiculous entitelment programs.
