I signed up for the Oz mailing list. Got notice of the drop that just occurred on Sun 01/18/2026 but missed it. Got distracted watching the Rams/Bears game on TV.

They haven't posted the "winners" of the lottery for this drop yet but I'm not clear exactly how it works.

On their home page, they show the 3 knives that they were offering in the current. Each is shown as "sold out" but they haven't listed who "won" them yet on their "lottery" page.

If you want to enter the lottery for a specific knife, do you place an order for one (without actually paying for it yet) & then they randomly select the winners from the orders?

And, if you're one of the winners, you are then issued an invoice that you have to pay to get the knife?

Is that how it works?🤔

Oz does two kinds of drops. FCFS is "First Come, First Served." An FCFS drop had all the available knives posted on their featured page at the deep time, and whoever checks out first scores. A lotto drop means you must enter your name and email into the lotto for each model you are interested in purchasing ahead of the drop time. After the drop time, they will pick winners and send an invoice. That can take a little time sometimes.

madcap_magician madcap_magician is exactly correct, and the drop for Sunday 1/18/26 was a FCFS drop. The knives were posted for sale at the given time, and the people who got through the checkout process first purchased them. There was no lottery.
