how durable will Krylon CoverMaxx be on a balisong

im cheep as heck and I wanna paint my knife black. will Krylon CoverMaxx (with clear protective finish) come right off or will it last a little while? thx

cutting paper maybe fine.. Cut wood or anything else it would rub off quite quickly. Even in time cerakote will also.. If you like the worn look go for it

the handle, or the blade, or both ? i would not paint the blade. if i had to paint the handle, i would sand it with 400 grit so the paint will grab or adhere to the surface.
