How far am I on the addiction?

You may only have a few knives but you jumped in head first... good choice on the Um; it's an awesome knife. You should look at kirby lamberts stuff and crusader forge, i think youll like their stuff

And you are right, I like their stuff! Now I have to read some reviews on those knives.
 
While it is a lot of fun trying every brand on the market, you have saved a lot of money by diving in with the Umnumzaan.

You bet. I had some buyer's guilt early on (at that point I was thinking "400 clams on a knife???") but just holding the knife or cutting something with it makes me feel good. This thing is built like a tank.

The only thing is that apparently there are other knives out there that are also built like a tank or even more so. And my hands are starting to shake.
