to the rat fans,

couple of questions:
1. What makes SR unique?
2. For a general utility knive, better 4 or 7 inches?

What makes them unique is the combination of performance at the price. You have custom level steel and heat treatment at prices cheaper than many production knives. I wrote a few reviews you can check out, if you have any questions just ask.

Seven if you want some chopping ability, four is generally easier to handle for most cutting.

Hello Bodhi
Welcome to the Swamp, I'm glad that you stopped by.

Cliff's reviews can be seen on his website located at http://www.physics.mun.ca/~sstamp/knives/index.html

If you have specific questions about any Swamp Rat knives feel free to ask, there are a lot of helpful people on this forum

:D:D

My Bog Dog is my favorite fixed blade right now, although that may possibly change come Friday. If you're going to be carrying it daily, 4" for a general utility IMHO.

And some of us not so much, but Eric usually drives us back into hiding.

This comment: "Oh Crap! Knives aren't SUPPOSED to do THAT!!!"
