How good is spydercos VG-10

Spyderco's VG-10 holds an edge as well as any steel I've tried, from 4116 Krupp to Duratech 20CV.

Haha good for you murph, I pulled the trigger on the zdp version but I'm not ruling out the g-10 version in the future lol

I looked at the zdp version but was out of my price range. Great blade though. How do you like it?

As everybody knows ~~ I love my Delica ZDP189 but I also 'like' the VG-10 Steel and as far as I am concerned they both take a good edge and are both are about the same to sharpen being the ZDP will take just a bit longer for me to sharpen personally.*
Yes ~~ I also like the H1 -- but then I use mine for different things than most people do.!**

I like S30V and S35VN much more than VG-10. In theory and probably for almost everyone else, VG-10 is easier to sharpen and is supposed to take a very sharp edge. I can sharpen my S30V and S35VN knives faster and sharper than VG-10. I know I am probably some odd exception. Also I know that in my experience S30V stays sharper and "working sharp" MUCH longer than VG-10.

Agreed, but here is the original post. :)

I have never used the steel before so idk how it performs
What do you like about it? What do you not like about it?

I've been looking at getting a dragonfly and I'm not sure if I should get the g-10 version in VG-10 or if I should get the zytel version in zdp-189

Also experiences and likes about the dragonfly help too

Pictures always welcome if you have them :)
