How has discontinued BK's affected your purchases?

The possibility of the 4 being discontinued, prompted me to hit up Dex for a couple. (Great service, by the way). I already had a Cinci 4 and a stamped KaBar 4, but to fill out my 4 requirements, I wanted an etched 4. I also wanted a 4 as a gift for a buddy.
I have more knives than I'll ever use, being a geezer and all, but the 5 knives I don't want to ever be without are, first and foremost, the Machax, and the other 4, in no particular order: BK-12, BK-3, BRKT Bravo 1, and ESEE Izula II.
Doesn't mean I don't like my Spyderco Manix, HI kukri, Bucks, Gerber, RMD etc., but the BK-4 is numero uno!
