We have had two days of terrible heat in Gaborone. 111f and only late yesterday did we see the first rain clouds form rain to provided relief.

We were taking clients out to site and walking in the bush. When I got back to the office it was top up with cold water and I was keen on dossing on a desk instead of going home.

What are the temperatures like where you are?

Best season of the year in New England. About 12 degress C
crisp air, and the autumn leaves are turning.

Hope your weather improves.

No heat problem up here.
In Bodø we have about -1 degrees C, and a little snow.
Not especially cold for this time of year.

Hope you are OK down there.

Freezing to death n Dixie, 50 degree days in good ol' SC and putting on the thermal underwear. Cannot stand the cruel winters down here. Good hair days though, matter of fact better breathing too, can not stand cold days...turn the heat up!!!

Our leaves are turning brown, burnt. Looks like more rain coming so I will walk home in it when it arrives.

Currently 51.3°F here on Skye.

Barometer 1005, bright overcast with a breeze out to sea.

Looks like rain later.

I had to cut the back yard grass again on Wednesday. It was in the 60's so I had to put on a long sleeve shirt.

Too bad BF doesnt have an auto metric converter :D

Tim-Gabz , what is 'dossing' ?

Here in the San Joaquin valley it is variable 70's in the day (thank the good Lord summer is over) and low 50's at night.
Soon it will be 50's in the day and 30's at night (my favorite time of the year :D ) although that depends on how soon and frequent it rains , early rain causes early fog and the fog here is some of the worst inland fog you'll find , doesnt bother me though.

Grime, Some parts of RSA did hit 40c (106+). I don't know what has happened to the weather and J'burg was close on 40c, virtually unknown. Sandton staff were bitching so I ragged them and called them whimps and to try it here (before having another bottle of water).

Dossing is slang for a flake out sleep.

Looking forward to this weekend. It is overcast and isn't quiet raining yet.

We are having a normal fall after several warm falls. Today it is about 2 C or 36F. Last night it was -4C or about 26F. The small lakes are starting to freeze up and the small ponds have been frozen for about a week or so now. I hope the cool trend continues and we get some decent snows- soon.
the forest fires are finally out for the Northwestern Ontario region. It was a bad fire year.

43 F or 6 C.
Overcast and drizzling all morning.
I'm feeling PRETTY jealous of Cindy down in SC. I grew up near Savannah GA, so this is totally foreign to me.

3 °F / -16 °C Scattered Clouds in Fairbanks Alaska. This is the coldest it has been since summer. This fall has been mild .I will finish buttoning things up for the winter today.

Don't know about the temperature, but we got 4" of snow last night. We always have snow at least once by Halloween, but not usually this much. Wind was howling and power was out for three hours last night, and four hours this morning (welcome to the "grid").
