Here it is. It's probably around a quarter inch thick and almost 12" of cutting edge. It looks like it was sharpened on a belt. The edge is rounded.
 
That is a throwing knife, which doesn't need a really sharp edge.
It's also doubtful if it will even take & hold one.

By the looks it's not even ground as a knife, just a flat bar of steel with a edge cut into it. For any type of edge work I would recommend a belt sander with a good 80 grit belt.
 
Yep it is a bowie thrower, I would like to put some kinda edge on it tho! Kinda just for throwing and chopping! Just threw it today, very nice thrower!
