How I Spent My Ganzaaa...

no, i took a lil time out for tons of beer, it was very hot!!!

That was smart. If you'd needed to stop, drop, and roll, you could have also peed yourself silly and put out any flames.

Wow....something else. All that and the INFI continued to flow from Idaho!

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez SKUNK! That was crazy. I am glad you guys made it through that. Where is the pic of you making fire breaks with your AK?

What he said!

I've been similarly challenged in Malibu and once in Arizona.

Not an experience I'd care to repeat. Hope Skunk, Vicky, and all their possessions are safely unburnt!!

Damn Scott...that is one freakingass crazy thing bro!!! Too close for comfort, having it that close to your home is one scary thing! Good to see you didn't panic and defended your INFI....errr home. Glad you and the fam are safe.

Ahhhhh....this isn't going to delay my shipment of knives is it? ;)

Skunk, Glad you and Vicki made it through ok. Too bad the rest of the Busse crew wasn't there to help though--that fire would not have gotten anywhere near your place if they had been.

Scott, glad you guys are OK. If you need anything in the way of help, give me a holler. I'm also glad to see you weren't peeing on the fire, with your alcohol content and all.;)

Wholly cow Skunk. Sure am glad that you are fine. What a mess.

I must admit, I am ignorant of the state of Idaho. I had no idea that it was as beautiful as the pics that you posted with the hills and all (well of course before the fires).

Sorry to here the bad news... looked like a very, very close call.

Main thing is all is safe in the Skunk family:thumbup:

thanks for the well wishes gents, there was one good thing about this...

the fire burned the dam in the creek a half mile up the hill, we were out of water for a couple of days and were forced to drink whiskey n beer till we could find some pipe and fix it.

So what you're saying is that you were drinking whiskey and beer and laying pipe. :p

Wow Scott, there's an adventure and a great story for the next time everyone is sitting around getting drunk. And this time it will actually be true!

Glad that everyone came through OK.

Dan

Holy crap, Scott. Which fire is that? I don't think you are near the Murphy Complex, but there are a couple other bigguns going right now. We had a small one out by the site last week, but it only lasted a couple of days.

Rick - headed for the high country of Colorado for a week of fun

I too am glad you and yours came through this ok.

Tough to be in this sort of situation with others that you need to watch out for and take care of.

I, too, am glad to hear that you and your family all safe, Scott!!!

.

Man, those atv's of yours nevers stood a chance. Was the one in the foreground your really cool blue Honda?
