How I went traditional and what my collection looks like today.

Thanks for sharing your growing collection Cole, very nice  Welcome aboard :)

Welcome to the sunny side. :D

Imperial knives, especially Barlows, were super-popular back in the 1970s when I was young. I still have my old ones, although they aren't in as good of condition as yours.
You can confirm the approximate date on that Imperial by the tang stamp. There are charts 'floating' around here somewhere, and a google search should turn them up.

I like the handle on that Case; I have a medium stockman with the same material. At first I thought the laser etching was a bit cheesy, but seeing them in person really hit a spot in my wallet.

Welcome to the Forum Cole. Excellent start to your traditional collection. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Cole - that´s a nice collection to start. Welcome aboard! It´s great to have young guys out there that interessted in knives (in general). That includes mostly some outdoor stuff and other great sparetime activity!

BTW: Very nice looking knives you almost got there! Congratz!

Great collection there Cole and welcome to the traditional forums. Back when I was 15 I only had a couple knives and they were not nearly as nice as your collection. Heck, I'd be happy with what you have now and I'm 30 now :). Great job, it's nice to see some young guys that keep some values of old.
