How is the kraton attached to the handle on the Moran?

I thought they used spyderwebs to hold it on.

See this thread about how the Grivory handle is attached: http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum20/HTML/000289.html

According to the Spyderco page the materials of the handle are "durable fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin with rubber polymer inlays at the sides and thumb rest." http://www.spyderco.com/displayproduct.cfm?productid=6

This does not necessarily equate with there being any Kraton. I would assume the reinforced nylon resin is what Sal Glesser referred to as Grivory....that leaves the question of exactly what equates to the rubber polymer inlays.

By the way, since I do not hunt, my favorite kitchen uses for the Moran are advocado and mango preparation. Sure, it is sharp enough to easily slice tomatoes, but unless they are small, it is not long enough for convenient use.
