Well I'm pretty close to finishing my first knife. (and in the meantime working on four others
)
With the first one I chalenged myself to use nothing but handtools
(exept a drillpress, didn't see a way to do that by hand)
I lost count, counting the hours I've put in, but if people ask me I tell them it's about 100 hours. That is including making mistakes, making up for them and learning a lot.
If I'd make one just like it I think I can do it is less then half the time.
