How long does "a fix" ...getting a new knife last before you need your next "fix"....

for me, it's a couple of weeks till i want something else. I keep everything in rotation, but i like variety as Smaug put it.
 
Longest time between orders for me is 15 days and visiting this site daily isn't helping either. This week has been bad so far, put in a preorder for zt560, zt561, zt777, zt cryo, & zt echelon.
 
For me it depends on the knife and how much I use it. I can usually last a couple of months if I like the knife.
 
i have a lot of fixed and folders, more than i practically need but definitely one for every working/edc purpose...i have no need to buy anymore in the immediate or far future...

i am glad i don't have the itch to buy the latest and greatest just because it's available...went thru the same thing with flashlights; i stopped a few years ago when i covered (if not over-covered) my practical needs...
 
I average about 10 or so knives per year, i planned to stop buying for a while after my CS Spartan purchase last month, i am saving to get a new Strider at the CA Custom Knife Show coming in Oct but last night i watched the Nutnfancy video with Ernie Emerson and now i cant stop thinking about that Gypsy Jack, i got to have one, i gof Gypsy Jack on the.brain and now i have to get one asap, still planning for the Strider but Gypy Jack must come first. I usually only buy what turns me on, if ther isnt something i really want then i dont buy anything.
