How long it take to have replay on offence report?

As was stated; we are unsure why you find that offensive, and we need to hear your explanation. We aren't ignoring you. We need your explanation.

The moderators do not find that offensive in any way, shape, or form, so an explanation from you would help.

What is your point again? Somebody is ignoring the facts, but it doesn't appear to be the moderators, of which several looked at the OP's report, or did you ignore that piddling bit of information?
 
This is outrageous. I demand an investigation at the highest levels of BFC. It's a conspiracy, a conspiracy I tell you. They are out to get Vassili, and this offensive image is just the first cog in a complex machine.

I can't believe such an offensive image would be allowed to stand while minor offenses like farting and belching receive infractions. Who in the world is running this chicken outfit? And more importantly, why do they insist that Vassili make his complaint public? Great and holy LOL CATS!!! Can't a man keep his dignity? Whatever happened to emailing behind the scenes?

And the response time! Vassili obviously has you people on the clock now, so you'd better step lively. Otherwise, reports are going to be sent to the Greater Bulletin Board Bureau of the INtranet. Then, you'll be in some deep doo-doo.

I just can't believe this is happening. The inhumanity of it all. The horror.

It is a gif of a crash where the pilot hung in there until he got the crashing plane heading to a safe place. Then bails out.

None of us could see anything offensive in that. Other than the bravery of the pilot.

jawilder - do you have any legit examples of what you are talking about? (or just sour grapes because you think you are above the rules established here.) We may misss things now and then, and it would be good to know if we missed something.
 
To be honest all I saw was a very brave pilot (I am no expert, but I could not tell the nationality of the plane.)

Either way, some one being offended by fact or history is not something we are going to try to control on this site.
 
Nor should you. I haven't located the pic yet, but was just trying to put some context on what otherwise seemed inexplicable.
 
In all honesty I should have probably emailed Vassili, since we have had discussions in the past, and asked him why he was offended. However, since it was a reported post and none of the other moderators saw anything remotely offending I didn't see a need to. We can't email everyone and explain our decisions on every post that is reported. Sometimes we take action, sometimes we don't, but a moderator (and usually more than 1) does check out every reported post.

I have no further comments regarding my part in this matter, because I shouldn't have had one in the first place. Last night I was just venting a bit and shouldn't have done it in this thread. My apologies to the moderators who are doing a good job and to nozh2002 for stepping into this.

Don't you even start accusing moderators of being dependant on INFI or S30V for performance enhancement. :mad:
