I've been dying to get my hands on this thing, which I feel will dethrone my current favorite spydie (para). So any release dates? I'm going to pick up another knife soon for the collection so if it's coming out I may just wait for it.

There it is, in all its majesty. My one single complaint is that it doesn't have a wire clip.

Just to clarify, the Push is a nice knife, but it's not the knife Spyderco will be making. They are making the Viele Phoenix, which is quite similar, but a bit different. Prototype of it is pictured here.

That's good to know, I thought the name was different on the production version I just couldn't remember what it was.

Any idea what the ETA is on this?

Last I heard was "August", so your guess is as good as mine. Sal's recent comment over on the factory forum regarding the "estimated delivery date" of another model probably bears repeating here...

I think I should tell you that Spyderco dates are often not an axact science.

They are more of an estimate. We are at the mercy of the maker when it comes to actual delivery. Some of our regulars already know that

For those with slow internet connections, click here instead of The Deacon's original link (points directly to the picture in question instead of the whole thread).

I don't think the Phonix looks nearly as nice as the Push knife.
The Push looks elegant and graceful in the photo.
