How long to wait after stabilization

I just got a batch of wood back from K&G. It still smells really strong and is sticky. Should I set them outside to dry? How long should I wait to start using them? Thanks.

The stabilizing agent doesn't cure by drying.
It's a polymer that has a catalyst that hardens with temperature.
It's hard inside.
What's on the outside is just excess gunk.
Grind it off and use it.
It may even smell while shaping the handle but will not when the knife is done.
