Serial numbers are whited out because of the many robberies I've had in my life. :thumbdn:
 
I have only one 3 at this point.
It has become THE knife I carry. I generally choose it over my Izula as EDC. It carries well and gives you that little extra blade length.
I have considered pointing the pommel like the 3 MIL but why? I KNOW I'LL end up with a MIL eventually.

i'd say you have OCD, but a peek in the gun safe shows that would be the pot calling the kettle black.

but i don't have any 3s yet. :rolleyes:

he must be inte witness protection program! :cool:

i understand covering license plates on vehicles. very easu to use those to find the location of the owner. also for gun serial numbers. someone could use your pics to make a false claim for a stolen gun... and then your unstolen gun could turn up as "reported stolen".

but knife serial numbers? hmmm... :rolleyes:
 
I'm curious to know how burglaries and random serial numbers on knives are related? I find this quite interesting and I just cannot wrap my mind around how it works.

it does not , called paranoia or living in fear based upon the robberies in his neighborhood or what not but to each there own :thumbup:
 
Never mind...I am just scratching my head to understand the "security" offered by obscuring the numbers. Obviously you should do as you are most comfortable.

OTOH, obscuring the numbers drew a lot of attention to the pictures....
 
I think I have (10-12) 3's now. That doesn't include the hest fixed blade.

I'll add a photo tonight.
 
blurred serial # so he can return it for warranty when it finally snaps after repeated throwing and jeff won't be able to link it up to his bf username :D
 
I have just one, my rat pack 3. Not that I don't want more because I love the 3. My next knife from ESSE has to be the 4 though. Just because:)

here's mine. i also never understand why people white out their license plates when posting pictures of cars/truck online. do you also drive around with a whited out plate? for those of you who EDC a 3, what's your method and got any pics?

The sheath and clip on this are so slimline I can put it anywhere, even if I'm going for a run. This is smaller (width, length, and girth) then my Benchmade I take EVERYWHERE.
