How many are into guns as much as knives?

I'm into guns of every description(except illegal!), knives, slingshots, bow-and-arrows, spears, slings, bo-staffs, throwing knives, tomahawks, chainsaws, bean-shooters....

Help me, I'm weapon crazed!

Kirk: "You fool! Can't you see see this planet is tearing itself apart?"

Klingon Commander: "Yes, exhillarating, isn't it!"

Both.

I have only a few of each, but they're all the right ones to have...

But then a few more couldn't hurt.... I guess....NOW SEE WHAT YA WENT AND DID!!!!!

For those that want to collect guns it's Ok.

For myself I've been permenetly cured of the habit
of gun use or ownership having to live with & by
a gun for 18 solid fricking months 30 years ago.

Sure I'd own guns if I needed one to hunt food with.In that application they are tools just the same as knives. But a trip to the grocery store is easier for me now.

For me knives represent a very subtle craft that no
gun can ever approach in either scale or use.

Seems like during the past few years, I've gone from being a "gun guy" with knives, to a "knife guy" with guns. I guess the best part of all right now is that I'm pretty content with what I have. Not to say I wouldn't like to add more of both (heck, a lot more of both ), but just that I realize there's little that I own at present that I want to trade away to get something else.

Now, if I start to earn a little more, and pay off a few more bills, my acquisitions in both areas could really increase my sense of contentment. :D geegee

I always been into guns: hunting (mostly dear and elk; no smooth bore hunting yet, someday turkey), tactical shooting (including some ipsc, idpa open competition), percision shooting, and reloading (from cranking out a ton of pistol rounds to meticulous neck turning/brass prep).

I also got into martial arts and had some great teachers. From there I got interested in edge weapons. So I have a high appreciation for knive and swords of all types.

I have a CCW permit, but these days I "usually" just carry some sort of folder or auto-folder around town. I "never" go on a road trip with out at least 2 handgun (one for me and one for the little lady), and I "never, I mean never," go picnicing/off-roading in the woods or desert without my tactical shotgun. :)

I am, and always will be a gun nut first. I just love knives also. I have a soft spot for Browning Hi-Powers and Bolt action rifles. I own over 50 gund and over 100 knives. I like the middle of the road knives and guns. Not high priced and not cheap quality. Just good quality at a great price. That why I like Ruger Bolt guns, Browning pistols, Kershaw folders and David Bowman's fixed blades.
