how many balis do you own??

it hurts worse than the Kris to flip, the sawback really bites into your knuckles, and you have to keep your fingers out of the guthook.

I have seen Waltco Safety sheaths and other similar copys (mine is a copy of a Waltco).
Some have the hook and saw, and some don't.

Yummy, how about a fully sawbacked kris blade??

Just buy a Kriss FHM and have it serrated by Bill Siegle

I think he's an affordable maker/frankenstiener (pardon the term).. I tkn kit will be a cool project.. this was the guy who does the jan tacs and also customizes the emerson comander into Rhinos.

it's be cheaper than having bandit or recupero do it for yuo

what do you think? There's a big demand for serrated kriss blades and I think this is the way o make yoru ideas reality.

I tend to never have more than 2 at a time, I have gone through a few though. overall I have spent maybe $250 in total
i have had a
china cheapie which was taken when i was in the UK, a jaguar which i broke into a lot of peices, a bear tanto and anandujar w/horn inserts that were taken by my mother because she was afraid for me (she stole them, i'm 21).I had 2 filipino handmades stolen from my house because it was infested with raver party kids, one shiny with white horn inserts and one with wood inserts. I had a Pakistani one with brass handles which I broke, jury rigged, then lost in the park. Now I have a Filipino with a bowie blade and yes, horn inserts. I put vegetable oil on it and shine the blade every day - carbon steel needs it.

The whole deal is something to find out through the trials and lessons of the blades.

Eleven if I include the junker I have. But...but...soon to be an even dozen when the second Benchmade Model 48 arrives in the next few days...

What about the future?

Let's see;

At least two Monarchs [Rotons].

One or two Tachyons. Maybe three if they release the Nemesis Blade..

BM Bowie.

BM Drop Point Tanto.

BM Kris Yeah...if THAT ever comes out.

BM Latchless...if THAT ever comes out (I hear they are wrestling with a legal issue, probably scared it is going to be considered a Gravity Knife because it has no latch).

Still looking for another BM45, I will eventually find one...I missed two the other day...did not have the funds.

So, about 10-12 more I reckon.

Would a serrated kris be serrated on only one edge or both, full length or partial, large serrations or small? I think it might be called The Meat Pulverizer. Owners only flip it once then must retire.
