How many "Becker Bites"

None to date required anyting but wiping off.

Kabar 1217 gave me a bad one once, though. Right in the leg.

Don't get me wrong, I do occasionally get cut, you handle knives, you get cut, that's how it works.

BKT's, not so much, but now that I've jinxed myself, I'm gonna go sharpen my BK16.

Only one Becker nibble for me. I was breaking in the sheath so that it finally didn't dull the blade, the belly cut me on the way back in on round 75. Knife was dull, so it didn't cut too far, but it hurt like a b*tch.
Dern lucky I didn't get cut today, skidded 10 feet on my face after a skiing mishap with a razorblade like bk11 in my pocket, fun.

Common sense when handling knives is important. I've handled knives since I was about 8 years old, and can count on one hand how many times I've cut myself (unless we're talking intentionally). Even then, it only occurred because I was being stupid. I'm mostly into bashing my shins on steel bed frames, hardwood planks, & serrated steel bike pedals, than I am into cutting myself. That's more my specialty. Sometimes, just to try new things, I like to gape at a girl, in contrary to the direction I'm moving in, so I walk walk head-on into a solid object. Good times.

Oh right, topic at hand..... No Becker wounds to speak of, However, I may have (not admitting this happened) possibly, perhaps, maybe - hacked a custom knife into the knuckle of my left middle finger while.. possibly, perhaps, air drumming. Couldn't make a proper fist for a few months. And after it healed my knuckle was a bit swollen for a few months, but it's all good now. Drum roll!

Thanks for all the replies here gents.. Some of these are pretty gruesome.

I feel better about my little Kabar USMC "knick" which only happened about two weeks ago and has already totally healed.

To make you feel even better about it, I once hacked my left thumbtip to about an eighth inch into the nail while chopping with a Cold Steel Kudu. Didn't heal completely for 2 months.

Not really any Becker bites. My Esky bit me once, and it wasn't too bad. It's always the user's fault.

Now, my PM2 got me...probably about a month ago. I wouldn't even call it a bite. Damn Spyder completely took the tip of my thumb off with the piece of fingernail still on the piece of thumb. I didn't get pictures, because I was spilling blood everywhere including my son's new 4-wheeler he got for Christmas, in which I was trying to "assemble" at the time.

All I have to say, think twice before the slice. It's always our fault, not the knife. Knife is just doing it's job. :)

My BK-9 scalped my knuckle once.

So far, no becker bites. Granted I only have 1 Becker so far however it IS my EDC so I fully expect something soon to happen.

Haha, I cannot believe that this is the first time I have seen this thread.

Anyway, I cut myself with the 14 not long after I got it THE SAME EXACT WAY THE GUY DID IN THE VIDEO. Same. Here be pic of scar, but I don't have a pic of the actual cut. I felt to stupid to post it up. I think me and Virtouvice learned a lesson. SLICY SIDE GOES AWAY...
