Stripped it by sanding it actually. Thats 150 grit, then some 600 and a hint of 2000 giving it that sheen right there. It takes a while, but gets rid of some of the grind marks on there, so I guess it was worth it .

Actually, one of the reasons I semi-polished it, was because I read that that actually helps it resist rust (less little pockets for the rust to form in, and less surface area as well).

I've had it like this since like October, and I've been watching it, and so far, I can't see any sign of rust. I do of course keep it dry, but so far no oil .

I'm actually doing the same thing right now to the ZK War Sword that I have, its just taking a while .
