No, not Bruce Bumps... Thread bumps.
If you have a knife for sale, how many times do you guys 'bump it to the top' before you realize: 1) You're asking too much, or 2) buyers just aren't interested in that design... And, is there a good time to bump? or not to bump? It's a question I've fought with over the past few months. Thanks.

I think sometimes knives just get missed by the person that would of had to have it. Often if I notice a knife thats slideing to page 2 I'll just make a comment to put it back up. I do this for all the makers knives (if I notice )
On the knives I sell I'll kick it back to the top when it moves to the 2nd page or after a couple days.

I'd say it may just definitely have been missed. I made a lame bump the other day for someone because I wanted to look at the pics (when I got home) and someone had like 15 threads that they had bumped themselves which put that one on page 2. I almost never go to page 2 or three unless I'm looking for something I've already seen.

Maybe you should PM your fan club to make sure they saw something... ;)

Maybe bump after the three day rule, then a week, then a week later and possibly reconsider the price.

I know personally, I like your work (and several other makers too) but SHMBO expects the mortgage and utilities etc to get paid first. Oh, well.

Dont get too excited. I doubt Bruce has many knives that dont sell even after one bump.
