How many Busses, let me count the ways. First of all I'd like to go officially on record as saying I do not have a problem. It's okay to miss perhaps the occasional house payment and keep another Busse.
Okay, let's see, I've got:
Straight Handled Steel Screws Infi:
1 Battle Mistress
1 Steel Heart II
1 Badger Attack
1 Mean Streat
Straight Handled Brass Tubes Infi:
1 Battle Mistress
1 Steel Heart II
1 Badger Attack
2 Mean Streets - 1 standard, 1 Desert
Storm
Police Recruits:
1 Squad oops I mean 1 A2 Original (smaller than the modern police recruit)
1 Black Standard Police Recruit - Infi
1 Black Crinkle Coat Police Rec - Infi
1 Bead Blasted Police Recruit - Infi
1 Ghost Busse - Steel Heart II, Satin
Finish, with the word Busse
very gently inscribed in
ghost letters on the left
hand side of the knife
Variants:
1 Badger attack - Brass tubes, 5/16,
infi, triple grind
1 Battle Mistress E Bolo
E Model Knives:
So far I just have the Natural Outlaw (my favorite of the E-models) and one Battle Mistress
A2 Blades:
1 Steel Heart (Not Steel Heart II)
1 Badger Attack
Sometimes at the shows I put these out as a historical display for display only; all of the above knives. Sometimes it takes an extra table and a person to watch it, but what can I say, I am proud.
My straight handled, stainless steel screws Steel Heart II and my straight handled Badger Attack go with me in my truck. So far somewhere between 150,000 and 180,000 miles. I use them, I abuse them, I do not oil them to see how they avoid corrosion. I've driven them from Southern California to Southern Florida to Quebec Canada to most of the 48 contiguous (SP) states. They are kind of special to me.
I repeat I do not have a problem. I can stop buying Busse knives anytime I have to. I haven't missed many meals, my wife is on a diet anyway, and the kids can eat at their friend's house. They're Busses and it's worth it. It is good to be the Busse Guy because I get first choice when a shipment of knives comes in. That's all for now, my son is getting tired of typing (I don't type well or fast), yours in nuclear acquisitiveness (SP)

P.S. Reason for editing: I just remembered Stealth Hawks. How could I forget Stealth Hawks! Oh, that's right, they're non-detectable knives. I have two Stealth Hawks hidden in my safe.
Another edit -
I got in another box of knives today. Pulled out my number three to open it -
(I keep it on top of the TV where it's handy for around the house cutting chores).
I'm cutting the box open and realize I did not write down any of my basics........
(2) number threes, 1 smooth black, 1 crinkle
(1) number five, crinkle finish
(2) number sevens, 1 smooth black, 1 crinkle
(my wife calls #7 Mr. Utility)
(1) number nine, crinkle finish
I don't use the five, or the nine, just got them to 'round out the set'. My wife said I should mention these are mine. None of the above knives are for sale. [By the way, I'm still waiting for a folder - (or twenty)].
P.S.S- One prototype. Game Warden made for the 2000 blade show
