how many buy other knifes while waiting

Thanks man. Yes I certainly will post a couple basic pictures with an esee or something for scale. The Honey Badger and 1911 Elite share the same handle, which I find to be pretty comfortable so far. I know the HB will be a camp knife while the 1911's 5" blade will be more suited for an "everything belt knife"

I need a new knifemaker to latch onto like a hole in the head, but they look very nice.

Dang, Kyle.... you'very been scoring get some nice stuff lately! I'm really liking the red handle and the fuller.

I'm still waiting on my Grizzly. This is one of the rare times where it would have been better for me to wait for them to be released and just buy a factory knife. The only bonus I got is that I did get to pick handle materials/configuration.

what steel are those jokers made from?

3v.

I really love the hand forged Grizzley that Peter made for Prepared Mind 101

It very much reminds me of the TOPS War Bowie. (One of my favs)

Here are mine. A stock model and one that I stripped, sanded and customized with a hot vinegar etch

Just got my gunny and I can not believe how good it feels in hand I am completely blown away !!!!!!!!! This might be my new favorite , it seems like it would be the perfect bushcrafter imho

I have an ESEE 4 coming in the mail. I have been looking for one for awhile to get for a project knife. I plan to strip it and put a forced patina on it, then some nice custom handles.

can't wait to see ! I bought an uncoated 4 and messed around with a mustard and vinegar mix and it came out sweet I never carry it though because the darn scales are so uncomfortable , so I'm eager to see your finished product !

Battle Horse is doing their Woodlore-esque model for their monthly special, pretty much positive I'll be getting one of those.

I have another LT Wright Northern Hunter coming. This one with Natural micarta handles over thick black micarta liners. Should look pretty sexy. Second to my 5.1 the Northern Hunter has become my favorite fixed blade. Its been pulling major kitchen duty. Should be here in march

I really want to hear your thoughts when you get it. I've made many trips to the RMJ website, but those items are definitely in the daydream realm for me. My favorite is/was their hammer tomahawk.

JV3 is my good buddy (in person) and he loves his and kept rubbing it in my face. There's no way I could go camping with him and see his without having my own. I too liked the Loggerhead until I saw the video of this one breaking a master lock with the spike. Also, JV3 did some feather sticks with his Shrike and said it came out better than with his HB Forge tomahawk and that's when I realized it might be decent for hiking. The spike would be nice for dragging or turning a big log. I'd like a hammer poll but the spike has its place. I'm looking at this thing as an urban survival tool. It'll be in my EDC pack for sure.

That's awesome you already have some experience with it. It sounds like it will serve your needs pretty well. I need to check out some videos on it.
