How many CF BWM's were made/sold?

I'm a little worried about my recent CF BWM purchase.

Some people (Including Jerry) say it's ugly. I guess looks is all personal perference though.

Wondering if the whole blade will be "dimpeld' or just the part near the handles.
Jerry's photos, it seems it's clear that it is only the bottom by the handles.

It could be due to the lighting and camera?

In the second photo (quoted above), I think I can see that there are no pits where the blade was ground - and pits where the un-ground surface remains.

The pits are so shallow that any grinding looks to remove them.

I have a BM Ergo that has much of the finish removed from use. It has the same dimpling.
