Ted's good, but he doesn't have a crystal ball. The thread you dug up is almost a year and a half old, while the Junior has only been out for less than a year.

I think the reason that you don't see it on cheaper knives and many knives not made in Golden, is because it is hard to get right. Sal has only found a couple other manufacturers with the skill to make them right. I think it also takes a fair amount of labor to correctly fit the parts together which is also why there are no real cheap knives with a compression lock. My suggestion, is do yourself a favor, and save up 90 bucks and buy a Paramilitary 2. You won't regret it.
