How many countries do you own knives from?

Very cool thread! Like lots of other folks have said, I'd never really thought of counting up how many countries I have knives from, but it was fun to think about it and put together the list.

Only counting knives I currently own (rather than ones that I owned at one point but have let go), here's my list. In cases where a particular country is only represented by one or two knives, I've mentioned what the specific knife is.

USA
Japan
Taiwan
China
Switzerland
Canada (Greg Lightfoot custom)
UK (various Farid Mehr customs)
Italy (a couple LionSteels: DPx HEST 2.0 Folder, also my pre-ordered LionSpy that just shipped)

You have to have at least one from Nepal, right? Right?

Actually I don't! The only kukri I own is a Windlass Steelcrafts government piece (Assam Rifles contract), and it's made in India. I know it's a poor example of the style, but it allowed me to realize that the style just doesn't jive with how I like to do things. Kukris are very popular, and for very good reason, but the only ones I've seen that I've really liked have been antiques in supposedly rare patterns, and so I've never had the strong enough drive to invest in any high-end kukris when I have so many choppers that fit my stylistic preferences better. :)
