How many Gold members?

Thanks for the response Kevin. The numbers are actually a little higher than I thought they would be.

Any idea on how many of the 12K registered members are actually actively posting?

Actively posting? Well, a quick look at the stats tells us that out of 12,000+ members, 3669 have yet to post. 1580 have posted once. 5696 users have posted between 1 and 100 times. 1411 have posted more than 100 times. I know, the numbers don't add up, so I missed a digit somewhere - but it's pretty close IMHO.

Wow, very interesting numbers. I find it strange that almost half of the members that registered have either never posted or only posted once. What can be done to get these members (obviously many are no longer here) to speak up? Might make the forums more active and possibly generate more knife interest.

I would have expected the numbers of the "paying" to be much higher. I guess when it comes right down to it, it is the money. Lots of people want a free ride.
