How many have remained Loyal to a pattern?

I always seem to come back to a two-blade jack pattern (though, these days it's a smaller version, the peanut).

I also have gone through countless SAK-infatuation phases over the years and no doubt will again. I have a Victorinox Soldier on my desk right now, in fact, just for fiddlin' with. Despite my fondness for two-blade jacks and other knife-only pocketknives, I've never found a pocketknife task that a Victorinox couldn't handle with every bit as much effectiveness as a two-blade jack or trapper or stockman or soddie or canoe, etc. To me, a good SAK is a fantastic pocketknife first, one that happens to also have some darn handy tools. I guess what got me thinking about SAKs again is that our third child is due in about 5 weeks. I've had the same 84mm Tourist in my pocket during the births of our first two. Reckon I need to get that one out of the drawer and start carrying it again for awhile so I'm prepared when it's time to rush to the hospital. I'm not superstitious, but I have two perfect kids -- I'm going for a hat-trick!
